The Texas Instruments 280xx range of MCU products are designed specifically for digital motor/motion control applications. This range of "Piccolo" family microcontrollers contains a C28x core and Control Law Accelerator (CLA) in a low pin count package.

The TMS320F28035 is code compatible with the C28x range.
