30kW Battery Charger

The 30kW Battery charger is an isolated AC to DC Dual Stage Converter. The Battery Charger has a 3 Phase active rectifier front end that produces a nominal 700VDC bus, followed by an isolated DC/DC Converter that generates a 110VDC battery compatible output.

The battery charger has a remote RS485 based LCD/keypad module that displays status information, as well as providing a downloading capability of logged operation and fault data

The battery charger is naturally cooled and was designed for mounting on the underside of coaches.
